Strategy1:
Developing and implementing the national standards, policies and guidelines that will credentialise our peer support services as international best practice.

Success Measure:
MSSAT Aotearoa peer support services are recognised by local professional and government agencies as an effective, enabling and professional male survivor service and applauded internationally as a best practice peer support model.

Developing Our People

Strategy 2:
Developing and implementing a national qualifications framework that will enable and encourage our people to become skilled facilitators and communicators and confident, proficient peer support professionals.

Success Measure:
All MSSAT Aotearoa services are provided by appropriately qualified professional managers and staff and peer review outcomes and survivor feedback attests to the proficiency and professionalism of our support community

Welcoming Survivors

Strategy 3:
Increasing the awareness and accessibility of our survivor support services, assuring service quality and enabling and encouraging more male survivors to seek our help

Success Measure:
MSSAT Aotearoa enables a national network of quality service providers that deliver appropriate, standards compliant, support services to an expanding male survivor community.
